The partnership will significantly expand the availability of private debt capital in Italy, enabled by favorable recent changes in the Italian legal and regulatory framework.

The partnership will have a focus on both existing corporate clients of Intesa Sanpaolo in addition to the broader Italian middle market corporate universe. The private debt capital will be offered to sub-investment grade companies for a variety of purposes ranging from growth capital, attainment financing, to opportunistic refinancing. The private debt capital offering via this partnership will serve to complement the existing offerings of the domestic banking system and expand financing options for the Italian middle market corporate, where applicable.

The Blackstone Group L.P. is a publicly owned investment manager. The firm also provides financial advisory services to its clients. It provides its services to public and corporate pension funds, academic, cultural, and charitable organizations.

Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE:GPK), dropped -0.55%, and closed at $14.47.

Graphic Packaging Holding Corporation will release results for first quarter 2015 on Thursday, April 23rd before the market opens. The same morning, the corporation will host a conference call at 10:00 a.m. eastern to talk about first quarter results.
