On Tuesday, ResMed Inc. (NYSE:RMD)’s shares declined -1.35% to $57.76.

New results from S+ by ResMed, the world’s first non-contact sleep system, show that after only one week of use, more than two-thirds of users with below-average sleep scores saw noteworthyimprovement. ResMed (RMD), the global leader in the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing and other respiratory conditions, declared that 67% of such S+ users saw improved sleep times after the first week of use – an average of 31 minutes of extra sleep per night – once they began using the device.

Released in October 2014, the S+ by ResMed is a personalized sleep solution using patented bio-motion sensors to monitor and analyze sleep. The device measures an individual’s sleep stages and sleeping environment to deliver daily sleep scores and provide personalized feedback to assist improve sleep. It uses ResMed’s proprietary touchless monitoring technology, allowing users to simply turn on the device at bedtime and eliminate the need to wear a watch, wristband, or other sensor.

ResMed Inc. develops, manufactures, distributes, and markets medical equipment for the diagnosis, treatment, and administration of respiratory disorders, with a focus on sleep-disordered breathing. Its products portfolio comprises airflow generators, diagnostic products, mask systems, motors, and headgear, in addition to other accessories, such as cold passover humidifiers, carry bags, and breathing circuits; and humidifiers comprising H5i and H4i, which connect with the continuous and variable positive airway pressure, and AutoSet flow generators to humidify and heat the air delivered to the patient to prevent the drying of nasal passages.

KLA-Tencor Corp (NASDAQ:KLAC)’s shares gained 1.36% to $57.20.
