Worries about the potential fallout from the Greek debt crisis also weighed on oil prices initially, offsetting positive impact from a stockpile draw at the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery point for U.S. crude futures stated by oil services firm Genscape, Reuters Reports.

Shares of Goodrich Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:GDP), inclined 17.09% to $1.85, during its last trading session, after the oil company declared that it commenced the completion of two of six unaccomplished wells in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale in the Gulf of Mexico.
Goodrich Petroleum said the two wells will be accomplished with flow back and initial production predictable within one to two weeks. The company plans to complete the other four unaccomplished wells in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale from mid-July through earlier September.
All six wells will be accomplished before the fall borrowing based redetermination planned for October, the company said.
