On Wednesday, Cowen Group Inc (NASDAQ:COWN)’s shares declined -0.16% to $6.25.

Cowen Group Inc (COWN) declared that Ryan Oatman, CFA has joined Cowen and Company’s Equity Research department as a Director to cover oil & gas exploration & production (E&P) stocks. Mr. Oatman is based in Houston and reports to Robert Fagin, Cowen’s Director of Research.

Mr. Oatman has seven years of experience in Energy sector equity research. He joins Cowen from SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he was a research analyst, and formerly held similar roles at Canaccord Genuity and FBR Capital Markets.

Mr. Oatman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University, and an MBA from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

3D Systems Corporation (DDD) declared that it has partnered with e-NABLE Community Foundation (ECF) to support e-NABLE, the global network of makers, inventors and designers using 3D printing to make functional, prosthetic hands that are donated to people in need. Building upon 3DS’ mission of Making Good, this partnership leverages the company’s 3D digital fabrication products, services and expertise to expand access to, improve the capabilities of, and educate the public about these life-changing assistive devices.

3DS and ECF declared four key areas of partnerships part of their partnership. Specifically,

  • 3DS will collaborate with ECF to design an all-new hand. This design will be free, publicly-shared, customizable for sizing and optimized for printing on the Cube(R), CubePro(R)andEKOCYCLE(TM) Cube(R). To encourage and support greater community participation, 3DS and ECF will publish a video tutorial on how to print and assemble the free hand file.1
  • 3DS will provide technical advisory, aiding ECF with key industry and technical expertise on 3D technology, prosthetics design and more.
  • 3DS and ECF will identify four or more university-based labs to qualify them as e-NABLE partners. These will be equipped with 3DS’ digital fabrication tools, counting CubePro 3D printers, premium material cartridges, Sense(TM) 3D scanners, design software and the Touch(TM) 3D stylus.2
  • 3DS and ECF will collaborate to develop learning materials for formal and informal educators, introducing and facilitating 3D design and printing regardingECF’s mission of sharing 3D-printed assistive technologies.

3D Systems Corporation, through its auxiliaries, operates as a provider of 3D printing centric design-to-manufacturing solutions in the Americas, Germany, and the Asia-Pacific, in addition to other European, the Middle East, and African countries. At the end of Wednesday’s trade, Hanesbrands Inc. (NYSE:HBI)‘s shares dipped -0.27% to $32.97.

Hanesbrands Inc. (HBI) declared that it has awarded Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and its medical professionals with the company’s first Hanes for Good Champion Award for outstanding commitment to community service.

Hanes has partnered with the medical center since 2012 to conduct eight volunteer surgical missions to the Dominican Republic where Hanes has more than 8,000 employees. The medical center’s otolaryngology medical teams have performed more than 500 life-altering ear, nose and throat surgeries and have treated more than 4,000 patients.

Hanes, a leader in corporate social responsibility in the apparel industry, honored Wake Forest Baptist, its medial teams and two Hanes employee volunteers at the company’s annual leadership meeting being held in Winston-Salem and attended by more than 600 Hanes professionals.

The Hanes employees gave a standing ovation while Hanes Chief Executive Officer Richard A. Noll presented the company’s Hanes for Good Champion Award to Wake Forest Baptist Chief Executive Officer Dr. John D. McConnell.

Delphi Automotive PLC (DLPH) declared that Joseph S. Cantie has joined its board of directors effective June 1.

Cantie is presently the executive vice president and chief financial officer of ZF TRW, a division of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a global automobile supplier. He served in these roles for TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. since April 2004, and has held various other senior financial administration roles at TRW since joining the company in 1999. Cantie has also held administration roles at LucasVarity and KPMG Peat Marwick.

Cantie is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s of science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Delphi Automotive PLC, together with its auxiliaries, manufacturers vehicle components; and provides electrical and electronic, powertrain, safety, and thermal technology solutions to the automotive and commercial vehicle markets worldwide.
