Wednesday’s Active Stocks Watch List: Wells Fargo & Company (WFC), Noble Corporation (NE), Public Service Enterprise Group (PEG),Qorvo, (QRVO)

On Wednesday, Shares of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), gained 0.74% to $56.07.

Wells Fargo & Company, declared grants totaling $500,000 for two nonprofits committed to assisting veterans and families in Salt Lake City overcome homelessness through the Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT program.

The Road Home ($300,000) and The Community Foundation of Utah ($200,000) are receiving the grants to assist prevent homelessness in Salt Lake City. The grant recipients were selected in close partnership with Mayor Ralph Becker and the city’s division of Housing and Neighborhood Development to assist address key local initiatives in the Salt Lake City community counting homelessness prevention programs.

Wells Fargo & Company provides retail, commercial, and corporate banking services to individuals, businesses, and institutions. Its Community Banking segment offers checking, savings, market rate, individual retirement, and health savings accounts, in addition to time deposits and remittances; and lines of credit, auto floor plan lines, equity lines and loans, equipment and transportation loans, education and residential mortgage loans, and debit and credit cards.

Shares of Noble Corporation plc (NYSE:NE), inclined 0.82% to $17.24, during its last trading session, despite oil prices fell by up to 3 percent for a second straight day on Wednesday as a resurgent dollar weighed on the market amid concerns that U.S. crude supplies may have started rising again after three weeks of draws.

  • Seal holes and cracks around doors and windows. Eliminate air leaks around window air conditioners with foam insulation or weather-stripping.
  • Close blinds and draperies facing the sun to keep out the sun’s heat.
  • Turn off power sources. TVs, computers and other electronic devices draw power when they are in standby mode or turned off but still plugged in. Plug electronics into power strips and turn off the power switch when the items are not in use.
  • Use timers and motion detectors on indoor and outdoor lighting.
  • Replace old appliances with new energy efficient Energy Star® appliances.
  • Install whole-house fans to bring in cooler night-time air that can pre-cool a house and reduce energy use in the daytime.
