On Monday, Shares of Centurylink Inc (NYSE:CTL), remained flat at $27.04.

CenturyLink, declared that it was awarded a contract by the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to provide managed IP-based voice service for the agency’s more than 400 statewide locations.

Using a hybrid IT approach that leverages technology already owned by HHSC alongside new CenturyLink services, CenturyLink will provide ongoing administration of the agency’s existing phone infrastructure, which comprises some IP-based phone systems and some legacy analog phone systems. CenturyLink will migrate users of an analog phone system to CenturyLink’s Managed Enterprise: Hosted PartnershipSolution, a VoIP and unified communications platform that is hosted in the cloud.

“Managed VoIP services from CenturyLink are focused on assisting customers improve their organizational agility using the latest technology while at the same time controlling IT spending with our transparent and predictable pricing model,” said Kenny Wyatt, senior vice president of business solutions, CenturyLink. “We look forward to delivering a simplified user experience in addition to improved efficiency and partnership with this voice solution for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.”

Shares of SunTrust Banks, Inc. (NYSE:STI), declined - 0.35% to $40.37, during its last trading session.

SunTrust Banks declared that it has become a founding partner of the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC in 2017. The agreement extends SunTrust’s long-standing relationship with the organization covering more than 10 years.

As one of 14 founding partners, SunTrust will continue to serve as the official bank of the Atlanta Falcons and will also be the title sponsor of one of the premiere field level Clubs at the new stadium.
