During Tuesday’s afternoon trade, Shares of Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ), lost -0.36% to $31.59.

Aruba Networks, an HP company, (HPQ) declared that Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) of Houston, the third largest school district in Texas and the 23rd largest in the nation, is deploying a new Gigabit wireless infrastructure to support the district’s commitment to 21st century K-12 education. Using Aruba’s 802.11ac solution and ClearPass Policy Administration platform, CFISD plans to adopt a Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) policy for its 113,000+ students and 14,000 staff and teachers.

As part of its vision to maximize students’ potential and prepare them to be global leaders, CFISD realized they needed to deploy the right technology across their school campuses and in their classrooms. The district is implementing a one-to-many device strategy and will allow students and staff to bring their own devices onto the school campuses.

“We expect to support nearly a half million devices,” said Frankie Jackson, Chief Technology Officer, CFISD. “To do this successfully, we need a reliable, high speed infrastructure that can scale, can deliver uninterrupted coverage across our schools and in the classrooms, and can authenticate and provide secure access for all of these devices.”

Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, declared the presentation of clinical research from its hematology portfolio at the 20th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Vienna, Austria from June 11-14. Bristol-Myers Squibb presented data for elotuzumab, an investigational immunostimulatory antibody, in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma; Opdivo (nivolumab), in patients with relapsed or refractory lymphoid malignancies; and Sprycel (dasatinib), in chronic myeloid leukemia.

Data to be presented at EHA exemplify Bristol-Myers Squibb’s commitment to advancing the treatment of blood cancers through its experience in hematology and its transformative science of Immuno-Oncology.

Staples, will introduce the new school supplies in stores nationwide and at Staples.com starting on June 28. Teams of middle school students collaborated as part of Staples’ unique Designed by Students education initiative to create products that solve school supply needs.

“Staples is empowering students to make more happen through research, partnership and entrepreneurial thinking,” said Scott Young, senior vice president of product and business development, Staples. “The first Designed by Students program gave students the opportunity to collaborate and solve real-life problems. Students were able to see how their ideas and creativity transformed into innovative new products.”

The program provides an original, educational experience to students, with a curriculum designed to foster creative thinking and teach students about designing innovative products. Participating students defined the issues students’ face, researched products in the category, brainstormed to identify possible product solutions, built prototypes and pitched a final concept.
